Terms

Effective September 26, 2026 · The Habbits

An agreement between you and The Habbits for the use of the app and its account service. By using the app you agree to these terms.

The service

The Habbits is a personal habit tracker. Signing in is optional. With an account, your habits sync between your devices. We may change or add features, and we may retire the account service with reasonable notice, in which case your data stays available on your devices.

Your account

Age
You must be 13 or older to create an account.
Sign-in
You're responsible for the Apple, Google or Facebook account you sign in with, and for keeping it secure.
One person
One person per account. Don't use someone else's.

Your content

Habit names and everything you log are yours. You give us only the permission needed to store and sync them for you. We don't use your content for anything else. See the Privacy Policy.

Acceptable use

Don't try to access other people's data, disrupt the service, reverse engineer the account service, or use the app for anything unlawful.

Not advice

Streaks are not a prescription

The Habbits helps you keep track of things you choose to do. It isn't medical, psychological or fitness advice, and it isn't a substitute for professional guidance.

Ending the agreement

You can stop using the app at any time and delete your account from inside it. We can suspend or close accounts that break these terms. The sections on your content, warranty, liability and governing law survive termination.

Warranty and liability

As is
We work to keep the app reliable, but we don't promise it will be error-free or always available, or that synced data will never be lost. Keep exports of anything you can't afford to lose.
Limit
To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for more than what you paid us for the app in the twelve months before the claim (which may be nothing).

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable there, and disputes go to the courts of Ontario, unless the law where you live gives you rights that can't be waived.

App Store

If you got the app from Apple's App Store, Apple's terms also apply, and Apple isn't responsible for the app or for supporting it.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced in the app before they take effect; continuing to use the app afterwards means you accept them. Questions: hello@thehabbits.app.
